Giving Back

Margie believes in getting involved in the community. She serves as Vice President of the Board for the Housing Trust of Benzie, helping make homeownership possible for the people who live and work in Benzie County. She is also the co-founder of Kindred Waters, a yoga and healing arts collective that has uplifted a dozen small business owners—each offering inspiration, healing, and connection to the local community.

Margie’s care for the land is as strong as her care for people. She serves on the Environmental Committee of Crystal Lake Township, volunteers and donates to the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, and is an advisor and champion for the Benzie Conservation District. Protecting our region’s most cherished natural resources is of paramount importance.
